Charming historical character, spacious rooms with high ceilings, great transport connectivity
Noise issues from events disrupt sleep!!! Inadequate noise insulation between rooms allows sounds from neighbors to be quite bothersome!!! Consider clearer communication about room amenities and meticulous maintenance of plumbing!!!

great park views and close to major attractions make it perfect
The park opposite was a good place to stretch your legs or soak up the sun, and I was within an easy walk to many of Edinburgh's top attractions like the Scottish National Gallery and the Royal Mile.

A Wonderful Stay with Exceptional Staff and Great Dining Options!
Our recent trip offered us delightful surprises, like the homemade scones at breakfast and the warm, welcoming staff. We enjoyed long walks in the nearby parks and the beautiful architecture surrounding the area. Make sure to visit the local bakery just a few blocks away for delicious pastries!

We had a lovely stay here. The room was spacious for our family, and the complimentary chocolates were a delightful touch! The staff treated us like family, always engaging with our kids, making breakfast even more enjoyable. The location was great too, close to everything.
My kids wished there were more activities for them at the hotel. Some entertainment options would be great for families with children.

My stay at The Bruntsfield was good! The staff provided really good help, and the spacious room offered great views. The breakfast, with its varied options, stood out. The old-fashioned decor in some areas felt a tad out of place. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Major parking hassle
So, this was a bit of a rollercoaster. Arrived to find the parking full, and spent 20 mins waiting for a space after a long drive. The staff could've been way more helpful. On the plus side, the room had a sweet view of Arthur's Seat, but the bed felt really uncomfortable. We found a cool cafe nearby for breakfast though!
